Kathmandu, Nepal, June 17, 2020: Nepal has reported highest single-day coronavirus positive cases in 24 hours by Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 586 new cases of coronavirus have indentified across the country to reach the total tally to 7177.
Of the newly infected persons, 546 are males while 40 are females. Total numbers of male infected cases have jumped to 6,638 while number of female infected cases reaches to 539.
Likewise, 1,167 persons, of them 1,055 are males and 112 females, have discharged from hospitals after recovery. Similarly, coronavirus related death has reached to 20 with new one death case.
