Kathmandu, Nepal, January 18, 2022: The Government of Nepal has sent humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan through a chartered flight on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), about 14 tonnes of humanitarian assistance that include medicine, clothes and other goods were sent as per the list provided by the United Nations.
A team led by Joint Secretary Sewa Lamsal at the MoFA flown to Kabul of Afghanistan in a chartered flight of Himalayan Airlines.
This is the first time that that the government of Nepal provided humanitarian assistance to foreign country.
