Kathmandu, Nepal, August 23, 2022: A Nepali Shrepa caliber has set the climbing records by scaling the Pakistan based world's 14th highest peak that measures 8,035 metres or 26,247 ft for a second time.

Sanu Sherpa, 47, who hails from Sankhuwasabha district of eastern Nepal , reached the top of Pakistan's Gasherbrum II on Thursday morning, Pioneer Adventure hiking company said.

Sanu is the only person in the world to scale each of the 14 highest mountains twice, Nibesh Karki, the company's executive director said. 

Eight of the 14 highest peaks, including highest peak of the world, Mount Everest, are in Nepal. The other six highest peaks are in Pakistan, including the Gasherbrum II, the 14th highest peak of the world, and the Tibet region of China.
