Kathmandu, Nepal: Newly appointed ministers have taken oath of office and secrecy at the Presidential office, Sheetal Niwas on Friday evening. Prime Minister Oli had added 15 new ministers- nine from his own party CPN UML and six from CPN Maoist Center on Friday itself.
Among the newly appointed ministers, UML’s Pradip Gyawali has been appointed as minister of Foreign Affairs, Gokarna Bista as inister for Labor and Employment, Rabindra Adhikari as minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Raghubir Mahaseth as minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Jagat Sunar Bishwokarma as minister for Youth and Sports and Sher Bahadur Tamang as minister for Law and Justice.
Likewise, CPN Maoist Center’s Barshaman Pun has been appointed as minister for Energy, Giriraj Mani Pokhrel as minister for Education, Shakti Bahadur Basnet as minister for Forest and Environment, Chakrapani Khanal as minister for Agriculture and Urban Development and Bina Magar as minister for Drinking Water and Supplies.
Among the state ministers UML’s Gokul Baskota as state Ministry of Information and communication, Dhan Bahadur Buda as state Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and Padma Aryal as state Ministry of Health. Similarly CPN Maoist Center’s Ram Kumari Chaudhary has been appointed as state Minister for Agriculture and Urban Development.
