Kathmandu, Nepal, April 19, 2022: The ninth edition of the National Games is going to be held on from coming June 5 to 11 in Pokhara.
Though the National Games was scheduled earlier for March 2021, it was postponed for the indefinite period due to the spreading threat of coronavirus pandemic.
The eighth National Games were held in Nepalgunj in April 2019. Nepal had begun the National Games from 1982 with the plan to hold in every two years.
It is said that the to be held National games will serve to select the athletes for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, which is set to start from September 10 to 25 in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province of China.
