Kathmandu, Nepal, May 8, 2021: Northern neighbor China has decided to provide 20,000 oxygen cylinders as assistance to Nepal to fight against the drastic surge of coronavirus infection cases across the country.
The government is sending a plane to China to bring the oxygen cylinders only on May 10. It is said that Nepal Airlines Corporation's wide body aircraft will bring 400 cylinders out of 20,000 in the first phase.
As many patients have lost their lives due to the dearth of oxygen, there is widespread demand that the government should take immediate initiation to manage the heath crisis.
