Kathmandu, Nepal, September 20, 2022: Political parties have submitted their closed lists of candidates under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system for the upcoming federal and provincial elections that is scheduled for coming November 20.
The Election Commission (EC) will verify list by Wednesday. It is said that the EC would notify the parties to make amendments to the list if any errors are found. Likewise, the parties can correct their mistakes from September 26 to October 2 sand adding or removing the names incorporated in the closed lists.
Though different 48 political parties had registered their names to take part in the November 20 elections, only 16 parties have submitted their closed list of candidates under the PR electoral system.
