Chitwan, Nepal: CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has revealed his party’s position that party unity process should be concluded before forming the new government.

The party unity process should be ended before government because it would be the respect to the people's mandate, Dahal said while speaking at a press meet organized by Press Centre Chitwan on Saturday.

The statement of Dahal is predicted as of his own fear that the CPN UML would not allow him to lead to the united party even if he support UML Chair KP Oli as the Prime Minister.

Dahal’s statement has come at a time when the leaders of both the party have engaged on to settle the process related to the unity of both the parties and the formation of the new government.

We have been making efforts to finalize unity with the UML before the formation of the new government, Dahal said.

It was said that both the chairman of CPN UML and the CPN Maoist Center had agreed in principle to share the post of Prime Minister and party Chairman. But the some of the leaders from the UML have been denying accepting Dahal as the chairman of the united party.
