Kathmandu Nepal, May 5, 2020: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has on Monday address a virtual summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) conducted under the theme of ‘United against COVID-19.’
Addressing the summit through the video conferences, Prime Minister Oli underlined the need to use its numerical and moral strength to unite the world at this critical moment of human history posed by the global pandemic of corona virus.
Humanity is at stake now and we are fighting a common but invisible enemy, Prime Minister Oli said adding that the virus has tested the entire world's ability and exposed its vulnerability. There is nothing more important than the protection of human life, Prime Minister Oli said during his address.
Sharing about the measures taken by the Government of Nepal to respond to the crisis Prime Minister Oli informed the head of government and state of the NAM member states that there is no death from Covid-19 in Nepal as of now.
