Kathmandu, Nepal, December 19, 2021: Owing to the continue obstruction in the federal parliament by the main opposition party CPN UML, the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the president of ruling head Nepali Congress, called an all party meeting today.
At the meeting called at his official resident, Baluwatar, at 4:00 pm today, all the top leaders of the political parties represent in the federal parliament are invited to discuss about possible way-out of resolving the stalemate seen in the parliament .
The UML has been obstructing the federal parliament since last session demanding resignation of House Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota alleging him of failing to mention professionalism in the parliament. Earlier, the UML had a demand that the member of the parliament aligned in the CPN (United Socialist) should not be recognized.
