Kathmandu, Nepal, May 25, 2021: in a bid to contain the spreading threat of COVID-19 infections, the District Administration Offices (DAOs) of three districts- Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur have decided to extend Covid-19 prohibitory order in Kathmandu valley by another one week.
A meeting of the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of the three districts held on Monday decided to extend the prohibitory order until June 3. The ongoing prohibitory order is going to last from Wednesday midnight.
The DAOs, have already decided to further tighten the prohibitory order in Kathmandu to restrict the movements of the people.
