Kathmandu, Nepal, August 24, 2021: Prohibitory order has been extended in Kathmandu valley till September 1.
A meeting of Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur held on Tuesday decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory order.
The meeting has decided to rescind its earlier decision to limit the movement of vehicles till 8:00 pm except for emergencies.
The decision was widely criticized from different sectors. However, the meeting decided to continue all the restrictions imposed earlier.
