Kathmandu, Nepal: Hundreds of thousands people gathered at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on Saturday demanding action against those guilty in the rape and murder of Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur.
In the mass meeting organized by the civil society, parents of victim Panta were also present demanding justice for their daughter. The protesters shouted slogans demanding justice to the deceased Nirmala and their parents.
Nirmala Pant, 13, of Bhimdutta Municiaplity-2, of Kanchanpur district was brutally raped and murdered 51 days ago, but nothing progress is made yet to book the perpetrator.
