Kathmandu, Nepal, October 31, 2019: A rape case has been filed against Former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara at the Kathmandu District Court on Thursday.
District Attorney Office Kathmandu registered the rape case against Speaker Mahara seeking a five-year jail term for his alleged involvement of raping Roshani Shahi, an employee at the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
It is said that the Kathmandu District Court will conduct the hearing on the case Friday as it had did nothing on Thursday due to time constraint.
