Kathmandu, Nepal: Following the verdict of the Kailali District Court, the Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal has decided to withdraw its support to the incumbent Nepal Communist Party (NCP) co-chairman KP Sharma Oli-led incumbent government.
A presidium member meeting of the Madhes based party held on Wednesday in Kathmandu decided to pull back support from the incumbent government alleging it of acting against of its demands and interest.
As the Kailali District Court made a verdict sentencing Lawmaker Resham Chaudhary among eleven others with life imprisonment, the party had called an emergency meeting to take the decision.
The court had made the verdict against of lawmaker Chaudhary and others of masterminding and killing of seven police men including a SSP with a two year old child the in August 2015.
Likewise, the party has also decided to launch nationwide protest against of the government protesting its activities.
