Kathmandu, Nepal, February 17, 2022:  Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting among the senior leaders of the ruling allies to discuss over the MCC compact project. 

Though the meeting was called for 3:00 pm today, it was postponed for 5:00 pm after discussion Prime Minister Deuba and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today morning. 

As the government has been planning to table the MCC at the meeting of the federal parliament called for Friday for the endorsement, the meeting called among the ruling allies is taken importantly from different sectors. 

Some ruling allies namely the CPN (United Socialist) and the Rastriya Janamorcha including the Maoist Center have opposed the idea to endorse the MCC proposal from the parliament.
