Kathmandu, Nepal, February 26, 2020: Following the rounds of controversies, Secretariat meeting of the ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is scheduled today at Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s residence.
This is the first meeting after the party faced severe criticism from the earlier decision to form a panel to amend the constitution and commission bargaining scam involving former Minister Gokul Prasad Baskota.
It is said that the meeting will discuss on most contentious issues like constitution amendment to pave the way for a National Assembly member to become the prime minister, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact including the commission bargaining scam.
As some leaders of the ruling head NCP have also raised morality question even against of the Prime Minister linking to the case related to the commission bargaining scam involving former Minister Baskota, the meeting of today is taken importantly from different quarters.
