Kathmandu, Nepal: Senior-most Justice Deepak Raj Joshee has tendered his resignation to the President through Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana on Tuesday.
Senior justice Joshee was not only assigned any case but also removed from the position of senior most Justice.
However he has not mentioned anything despite the personal reason in the resignation letter, states a source at the Supreme Court.
Though Joshee was the senior justice at the Supreme Court, Parliamentary Hearing Committee had rejected his nomination through voting process.
He was alleged for failing to give satisfactory answers to the questions raised by the lawmakers about his demeanor, honesty and capability.
