Kathmandu, Nepal: All seven persons on board the Air Dynasty helicopter including Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari have been killed in the fatal crash near Pathibhara temple in Taplejung district on Wednesday.  

The helicopter crashed at 1:30 pm today, thanks to the bad weather, those the reason behind the fatal accident is yet to be ascertained officially. 

A six-member team comprising Minister Adhikari had taken the flight from Kathmandu at 8:00 am for carrying out a feasibility study of the proposed airport at Chuhandanda. 

Seven persons travelling in the helicopter were tourism entrepreneur Ang Tshiring Sherpa, who is also the managing director of Yeti Airlines, Under-Secretary at the Prime Minister’s office Yubaraj Dahal, Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Birendra Shrestha and CAAN Engineer Dhruba Das Bhochhibhaya, security personnel Arjun Ghimire and Captain Prabhakar KC. 

All the seven bodies of those killed in the chopper crash have been recovered, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said.
