Solukhumbu, Nepal: AT least six people were killed and eight others injured when a passenger jeep fell off the road at Mahabhir of Tilanga in Solukhumbu on Friday.
The ill-fated Bolero jeep with registration number Ko 1 Ja 1806, which was en route to Pingla from Salyan's Doli, veered off about 1000 meters off the road.
The deceased have been identified as Jeep owner Shyam Kumar Rai, driver Kusang Tamang, and passengers Urmila Bastola, Sushila Khadka, Shiva Kumar Yadav and Kopila Karki.
The number of death would exceed as four have received severe injuries in the accident, police have said. The injured passengers have been admitted at the local hospital.
