Kathmandu, Nepal, August 2, 2021: Newly-appointed State Minister for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha has unveiled his 100-day plans during a press meet organized at the Ministry of Health and Population on Monday. 

Unveiling his 100-day plans, Minister Shrestha announced not to take any government facilities including salary and not to involve in businesses activities during his tenure as Minister. 

During the program, he also expressed his commitment for the betterment of heath sectors. In a different note, he also stated that the government is committed to vaccinate COVID-19 vaccine to all the eligible people by the end of mid-March.

Expanding the cabinet for the second time, Prime Minister Deuba had appointed Shrestha as State Minister for Health and Population on July 25.
