Kathmandu, Nepal, April 25, 2022: The first Milan Memorial Table Tennis Tournament is going to be held from May 21 to 23 at National Table Tennis Training Centre in Lainchaur, Kathmandu. Spin Events Pvt Ltd is going to organize the Tennis Tournament in memory of late national table tennis player Milan Shrestha.
According to the organizer, junior as well as veterans will compete in different three age categories. Each age-group event will have boys' and girls' singles categories.
The junior players will vie in the U-18, U-15 and U-12 age categories in both boys’ and girls' singles sections while there will also be competition in above 40, above 50 and above 60 age categories of men.
According to the organizer, the winners of the junior age categories will get cash prizes of Rs20, 000 while the runner-up will get Rs10, 000 each. Similarly, two semi-finalists will get Rs5, 000 each.
Likewise, winners and runners up of the veteran age groups will receive Rs10, 000 and Rs5, 000 respectively while the two semi-finalists will get Rs2, 000 each as cash prize.
