Kathmandu, Nepal: The eighth global conference of Non-Residential Nepali Association (NRNA), the association of Nepali Diasporas across the globe, has begun in Kathmandu from Saturday.
 
The four-day event is going to elect the new executive committee for next two years. Hundreds of Nepali Diasporas across the globe including the executive committee members have participated in the conference. 
 
With the beginning of the conference, election fever has also griped the participants.  Bhaban Bhatta and Jamuna Gurung are vying for the top post of NRNA. Election is scheduled for Monday.
 
Bhatta is the incumbent vice president while Gurung is the spouse of current President Shesh Ghale.
