Kathmandu, Nepal, August 7, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus tally has reached to 22,214 after 464 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Dr. Jageshowr Gautam, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population has said during a regular press briefing on Thursday that 464 new cases recorded while testing of 7,926 specimens through PCR method across the nation in the last 24 hours.
Among the newly infected cases, 106 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
Likewise, 425 people infected earlier with the virus have been discharged from health facilities across the country in the past day. With the recent additions of recovery cases, total number of recovery cases has reached to 15,814.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 70 after five persons died of virus in the past 24 hours.
