Pokhara, Nepal: At least two people have died, two missing in river and several injured when a passenger bus plunged into the Rudi River at the border of Kaski and Lamjung districts on Thursday afternoon.
Though the identities of the dead and missing persons are yet to establish, the Kaski Police have confirmed the accident. According to the police reports, the ill-fated bus with registration number Na 5 Kha 6395 that was en route to Baluwabeshi of Madi Rural Municipality from Pokhara fell into the river at around 1 PM.
It is suspected that the death toll would increase as six persons have injured seriously in the accident. The seriously injured passengers have rushed to Pokhara for better treatments while other about 20 passengers with minor injuries are receiving treatment in local medical center.
