Kathmandu, Nepal: The Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) leader Rajendra Mahato has reiterated that his party will not take part in the second phase of the local level elections until their demands are fulfilled through the amendment in the constitution.

Mahato, who is considered as the hardliner leader of the party, has reiterated the stand not to take part in the elections during an interaction program in Kathmandu on Saturday.

We will not participate in the elections but foil it as the government did not consulted us while taking decision to postpone the elections in province number 2, Mahato said.  During the program he also accused the major political parties of not being sincere to the demands of the Madhesi community.
