Kathmandu, Nepal, December 20, 2019: The winter session of the Federal Parliament- both the House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly (NA) have begun from Friday.
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Shivamaya Tumbahamphe announced the convening the session of the parliament by reading out a letter received from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
The first session of the HoR passed separate condolence motions on the deaths of four former lawmakers Hari Bairagi Dahal, Kamala Kumari Ghimire, Ramlakhan Mahato, and Rameshwor Dhungel.
After passing the condolence motion, the session of today was ended by calling the next meeting of the HoR at 1 pm on December 27.
